Hello students! My name is Professor Geekbeak, and today, I wish to draw attention to Mega Starmie. While not particularly admirable in both Water and Psychic on their own, this is one of only 2 Mega Pokemon in these two types, so there is some use there. I also want to take this space to remind raiders that Mega Starmie is part of the new Super Mega classification, and that means that it has a Mega Shield. Mega Starmie has 7 Mega Shields, meaning a raid must have 7 people with Mega Pokemon to break the shield, and make the raid significantly easier. Caution is advised. This raid is a new release, coming out on August 22nd from 11am to 5pm.

As a Water Psychic type, Mega Starmie has a normal list of weaknesses. However, do note that Mega Starmie learns Ice Beam, Power Gem, and Thunder, all of which are charge moves outside of its dual type, so be careful if any of your counters are weak to that.
