Mega Garchomp is not only the best Ground Type mega in the game, it is also the second best Dragon type Mega in the game, only beaten by famously broken Mega Rayquaza. Course Schedule

This raid will take place from August 12th to August 18th. It will be preceded by Mega Blaziken, Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit, coincide with Groudon, and be followed by Mega Swampert and Lunala.

Both normal Garchomp and Mega Garchomp are famously weak to Ice, due to Garchomp’s most memorable appearance as the Sinnoh Region’s Pokemon League Champion’s ace. However, do note that Mega Garchomp has Fire Blast in its charge move pool, which means that Ice Pokemon can end up being hit hard if that moves ends up getting rolled.

Overall, Mega Garchomp is an easy raid. Due to the double weakness, most strong Ice Pokemon (such as the Kyurems), can easily take down Mega Garchomp, even if Fire Blast is rolled.
